Yahoo!'s Model of the Month Korina Longin Brought to you by GUESS? Interactive. Korina Longin's favorite place is Croatia. Unlike most fourteen year olds, this 5'8" beauty is well traveled and can compare the tiny country she calls home to such places as Paris and New York City. Longin recently added a major city to her list when she spent three days in Los Angeles. Her trek to the West Coast led her to her latest job as one of two female models featured in the new fall campaign from GUESS? shot by renowned photographer Dah Len. Korina's career began at age eleven when she was approached by a family friend who had known her since she was three years old. Her first job was modeling on the runways of Croatia where she was spotted by an agent who offered to represent her on a worldwide scale. Since then, Korina has been featured on both the runway and in print. Considering her success at such an early age, Longin has her feet planted firmly on the ground. She believes that young models should always have a chaperone for support and company because the life of modeling can be very lonely. In addition, Korina has seen first hand how the industry can make a person grow up fast and she's too happy with her life at the moment to be in any rush. When at home in Croatia, Korina attends school. She spends her spare time at the beach with her friends and older brother in addition to shopping for silver rings and clothes, her two passions and her biggest means of self expression. When asked about the future, Korina raises her eyebrows and smiles brightly. "Who knows what my future holds?!"
