Charming, sensual and captivating, Claudia
Schiffer is considered to be one of the most
beautiful women in the world. Claudia gained her
greatest exposure by appearing in GUESS? ads in
early 1989 and by becoming the spokesmodel for
GUESS? perfume. GUESS? certainly boosted her to
international stardom.
Claudia Schiffer was born on August 25, 1970 in
Dusseldorf, Germany to a successful lawyer father
and a homemaker mother. With three younger
siblings, she had once dreamed of becoming a lawyer
in her father's law firm but this all changed when
she was discovered dancing in a nightclub in 1987
by a modeling agent. With protective parents by her
side, Claudia went to Paris for her first test
shoot where a star was born!

Her first magazine appearance was in Elle
Magazine. Claudia first began getting noticed by
magazines in Europe and then she was chosen as the
new GUESS? Girl in 1989. Simultaneously with the
stunning GUESS? campaign, Claudia appeared on five
magazine covers in the US and seven in Europe.
At 5'11" with light blonde hair and sapphire
blue eyes, she has appeared on over 500 magazine
covers and her yearly calendar is always a best
seller. She's been a guest star on many television
shows including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno,
Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Larry King Live and
The Late Show with David Letterman, in addition to
appearing in a number of feature films and her own
exercise video. She is also one of the founders of
the Fashion Cafe, together with Naomi Campbell,
Elle MacPherson and Christy Turlington.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading,
playing tennis, riding horses, skiing, dancing and
speaking several languages fluently - German,
English and French. At nearly 27, she hopes to
continue modeling and one day become a respected
and successful actress and raise a family of her
own.
