Arrest Made

Police have made an arrest in a robbery of artifacts from an Englewood synagogue. Bergen County prosecutors say Charlie Jones was arrested in New York City with a silver and gold breastplate stolen from Temple Emanu-el. Authorities say the 31-year-old was planning to sell two stolen breastplates and two torahs which are valued at about 100-thousand dollars. Jones will be charged in New York with possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon. He will be charged in New Jersey with burglary and theft.
