Gruesome Murder

A man is in jail for dismembering his girlfriend. An arraignment is scheduled Monday morning for the South River man accused of shooting his girlfriend, dismembering her and placing her head in the oven. Forty-five-year-old George Jenewicz was arrested late Friday night. Police say he was "cool as a cucumber" when they showed up at his house after receiving a call from a friend who had just visited Jenewicz. Police found the headless and armless body of 42-year-old Eunice Gillens Joseph in the basement of the home the couple shared. Her head was found in a pot inside the oven, which was not turned on. Jenewicz apparently shot Joseph sometime last week after they had a fight. According to Jospeph's sister, Joseph was going to leave Jenewicz because he was abusive. Police found a hacksaw, hatchet, a mop and shotguns and pelletguns in the house.
