On the eve of Tuesday's election, the U-S Attorney's Office has set up special telephone numbers to handle complaints of possible violations of federal election laws. For Manhattan, Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Westchester counties, the numbers is (212) 637-2777. For Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk counties the number is (718) 254-7000. For Spanish speakers the number is (212) 637-2750. Voters may also call the F-B-I at (212) 384-1000. According to the U-S Attorney's Office, it is a crime to deprive citizens of their right to fair elections, to bribe or intimidate voters, to engage in ballot stuffing, or to vote more than once.
