Murder Suspect Arrested

Connecticut, 11/6/98

A fugitive is behind bars in Norwalk on Friday. Shawn "Milk" Craw was captured after a violent struggle with New Haven police officers. Craw is a suspect in the slaying case of Isaac Jackson in the Roodner Court public housing complex in August and a suspect in a shooting of eighteen-year-old John McBridge a few days earlier. In the struggle with police before his arrest, he bit off part of Officer Steven Manware's finger. Police had been searching for Craw for four months and a $50,000 reward was offered for his arrest.
