Murder Trial

The brother of a murder suspect in Delaware Monday described how they dumped Anne Marie Fahey's body off the Jersey shore. Gerard Capano testified that he and his brother, Thomas, took a cooler 70 miles out to sea and threw it overboard. Gerard Capano says he shot the cooler when it wouldn't sink and he saw something red ooze out of it. But still the cooler wouldn't sink. Gerard Capano says he pulled the boat alongside the cooler and Thomas Capano got the body out and sank it with anchors. Gerard Capano says he saw a foot sinking into the water. Thomas Capano is accused of murdering Fahey in 1996. Her body has never been found.
