New Museum

The Camp Upton Museum gets a new home at Brookhaven Labs. Long Island veterans and Brookhaven Lab employees gathered Tuesday morning to celebrate the new home of the Camp Upton Historical collection. Camp Upton was a major Army training center for soldiers in World War One and an induction center during World War Two. The site became the Brookhaven National Laboratory in 19-47. The new museum will be located in the former Camp Upton chapel. The building is expected to open to the public by next spring.
