Knifing Death

A woman is being charged with stabbing her boyfriend to death during an argument in their Mount Vernon apartment. Police say the victim, 41-year-old John Alarcon - was pronounced dead at the Westchester Medical Center at ten Sunday morning. He was stabbed in the chest and leg. His 16-year-old son was stabbed once in the left shoulder when he tried to intervene. Mount Vernon Police say 33-year-old Adelle Gainey is charged with second degree murder. She will be arraigned Monday morning at City Court.
