Adam Graves collected two goals and an assist as the New York Rangers snapped a four-game losing streak, 4-to-1 at Washington. Graves opened the scoring 12 minutes into the contest and sent his 21st goal of the season into an empty net. Wayne Gretzky picked up where he left off at Sunday's All-Star Game. The All-Star M-V-P set up three goals to pad the Rangers' attack. Niklas Sundstrom and Mathieu Schneider also scored for the Broadway Blues.
Making a last-minute start, Chris Terreri stopped 24 shots as New Jersey beat Ottawa 4-to-1 in East Rutherford. Terreri was forced into the lineup when Martin Brodeur developed a sore neck sometime after the morning skate. Brendan Morrison and Brian Rolston each had a goal and an assist as the Devils beat the Senators for the first time in four games this season.
