The New Jersey Devils will be without defenseman Kevin Dean when they take the ice tonight against Carolina.
Dean was hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat Monday night and underwent a battery of tests yesterday. The heartbeat was discovered after the second period of Monday's two-all tie with Detroit.
In Hockey tonight... the New Jersey Devils are at the Carolina Hurricanes. The New York Islanders are at the Detroit Red Wings.
