AIDS is often thought of as a young peoples disease. But an increasing number of people over 50 are being diagnosed with H-I-V.
The New York Times says eleven-percent of the new cases diagnosed in 1995 were people over 50. That number is 15-percent here in New York City.
One woman, who lost a lover to AIDS says "some doctors just don't believe old people have sex or do drugs," and therefore, don't discuss the issue.
