Fort Lee Residents Advised To Conserve Water

Fort Lee, New Jersey, residents are being asked to skip their morning shower and wait until tomorrow to do laundry or run the dishwasher.

Mayor Jack Alter says all three pumps at the city's sewer plant stopped working yesterday after a gasket failed.

They got one pump going last night, but Alter says the emergency isn't over yet.

Alter hopes things will be back to normal this afternoon.
