Authorities at Kennedy Airport are holding a planefull of passengers in what appears to be a bomb scare.
The FBI is going over a Delta L-1011 flight 108 that was on it's way from Atlanta to Madrid when scheduling problems forced it to be detoured to JFK.
The possibility of a bomb aboard was raised when a passenger went into a rest room and saw writing on the wall with the words "bomb" or "bomber" in it.
The plane was hauled away from the terminal and the passengers were cleared off.
FBI agents, the Port Authority and police dogs have been searching to find out if any explosive device is on board.
There is word the writing on the wall may have been in magic marker or crayon and may be the work of a child playing some kind of a joke.
The FBI hasn't declared the plane secure yet and the passengers are still stuck at JFK.
The investigation is ongoing.
