If you live in New Jersey and your bus doesn't arrive on time, blame it on the heat.
New Jersey Transit says the sudden arrival of hot temperatures this week sidelined more than twice as many buses as usual.
An NJT spokesman says some of the buses need some adjustment after a rapid rise in temperature.
Forty-seven buses failed on Tuesday, the first day of the current heat wave--compared to 20 on an average summer day.
