How do you get the city to fix a bunch of potholes? Have a parade with lots of lightbulbs.
The city repaved a pothole ridden stretch of 42nd Street so none of the 500-thousand light bulbs in Disney's electric light parade tomorrow will be broken.
The parade to announce the premier of Disney's newest animated film "Hercules" doesn't start until 9:15 tomorrow night, but part of 42nd Street will close at 9 tonight so Disney can get the 30 floats lined up.
Anywhere from several hundred thousand to a million people are expected to line the parade route.
