It's the prosecution now sums up in the penalty phase at the Megan Kanka trial in Trenton, reports WCBS' Peter Haskell.
The defense rested today after about an hour of additional testimony from psychologist John Podboy.
Podboy testified that he believes Jesse Timmendequas only wanted to fondle the seven-year-old and panicked when she struggled. Podboy says less than one percent of all pedophiles kill their victims.
Prosecutors have called their own psychiatric expert to rebut the defense claims.
