Whitman Won't Sign Bill To Ban Late Term Abortions

New Jersey Governor Whitman says she will not sign a bill banning some late term abortions.

The state Senate passed a bill yesterday banning so-called partial birth abortions unless the mother's life is at risk.

Whitman wants the bill's language broadened to allow the procedure where the "substantive health" of a mother is at risk.
