Freelance Reporter Arrested In Parking Ticket Scam

A 42-year-old freelance reporter who worked on Long Island, has been arrested in a $2,300 traffic ticket scam, says the Associated Press.

The New York City Department of Investigation says Michael Zimet, of the Bronx, allegedly filed false stolen car reports to get out of the fines.
