Westchester County Beaches Remain Closed

The sand may be wet on Westchester county beaches, but don't go in the water.

All 26 beaches on the Long Island Sound--from Rye Playland to some of the finest private clubs--are closed because of a large sewage spill on City Island in the Bronx.

But the city's environmental agency says what Westchester called a sewage slick could be algae or debris.
