Having swept much of the grit off Times Square, authorities are now trying to make Wall Street more honest.

State Attorney General Dennis Vacco is expected to hold public hearings next month to weed out unscrupulous investment firms.

The state attorney says that there's been a 40 percent rise in consumer complaints against investment companies.
