A self-proclaimed witch will be sentenced next week for grand larceny on Long Island.
She took advantage of a elderly widow by offering to to perform an exorcism so the soul of the woman's late husband could go to heaven.
First she had her buy $600 worth of candles, but the evil was too strong.
Then told her she had to turn over $2000 worth of jewelry and clothing that was infested with evil -- but the evil was still too strong.
Finally, she told the woman to put together $20,000 in cash, and place a rose petal in between each bill.
Then she told her to wrap the bills in a pair of underwear and leave it for 4 days; and to take an egg, and place it under her bed in a brown paper bag -- and of course, tell no one.
That was too much, and the victim finally called the police, who set up an Undercover video sting.
On the video the "witch" is seen breaking the egg, and screaming "the evil is too strong, the money must be buried in a cemetery as a sacrifice."
She scooped it up and walked out the door - where she was arrested by police.
