Where Does A 132-Pound Bear Sit?

Here's the bear update from the northern suburbs. It's one down and one to go.

Yesterday, a 132 pound black bear was hit by a car along Granite Springs Road in Somers.

When it climbed a tree to lick its wounds, a state ranger was able to shoot it with a tranquilizer dart. The bear had a cut on the forehead from the car accident.

It will be relocated later today. Another bear was sighted in Kent this morning.
