Garth Brooks Invades North Meadow Of Central Park

The country boy comes to the city tonight.

Of course country music mega-star Garth Brooks isn't just any country boy...and his free concert in Central Park's North Meadow is expected to draw up to a quarter of a million fans.

If you're headed to the concert keep in mind the North Meadow Opens at 10 am and closes at midnight.

Recommended entry points are 96th and 90th at either 5th Avenue or Central Park West.

Alcohol is prohibited - along with beach chairs, hard coolers, glass containers, grills, barbecues or blankets larger than king size.

Dress the kids in very bright colors so they'll be easy to spot.

And keep in mind there are 10 vending areas set up, 350 portable toilets and 4 Jumbotrons for a close-up view of the stage.
