Teen Robber Shot Dead, Identified

A teen-age robber who was shot dead while holding up a Long Island McDonald's restaurant has been identified.

Suffolk County Police say he's 19-year-old Ahmed Zia of Elmont. Police say Zia was shot dead by an off-duty New York City Police officer on Saturday when Zia pulled a pellet gun and announced a robbery.

The off-duty cop was ordering food at the time.
