Time Magazine Issues Retraction On Richard Jewell Story

Former Olympic bombing suspect Richard Jewell has withdrawn a threat to sue Time magazine because of its reports about the ex-security guard. As part of an agreement, the New York-based magazine will include in its Aug. 25 issue a five-paragraph clarification that expresses regret for statements about Jewell in two stories which ``may have been inaccurate or incomplete.''

Jewell's attorney, Lin Wood, says no money was involved in the agreement. He says Jewell was satisfied with the ``clarification of their reporting.''
