Two F-16's collided just outside of Atlantic City, causing a pair of pilots to bail out over the Atlantic.
The two airmen were rescued safety shortly after.
The accident occurred when one F-16 with two pilots aboard attempted to overtake a second single-piloted Tomcat. That's when the missile carrier scraped the left wing of the second plane.
One pilot aided his own rescue by lighting a flare -- the other was found through a homing device.
All three pilots are fine, after being treated and released at local hospitals.
