4] Latest On The Messinger-Sharpton Runoff Situation

We still don't know if Ruth Messinger reached the magic 40 per cent of the vote....and it looks like there won't be an official announcement until tomorrow afternoon.

Meanwhile, Al Sharpton is threatening a court battle if next week's runoff with Messinger is canceled.

A New York One-Observer poll shows that if there is a runoff next week....Messinger will beat Sharpton 54 to 27 per cent....with 19 per cent undecided.

The poll also shows that Giuliani would beat Messinger 49 to 40 per cent in the general election.
