Cops Crack Down On Milk Crate Thieves

First it was squeegee men. Then it was kamikaze bike messengers.

Now cops are cracking down on milk-crate thieves.

The big crackdown is in the 46th Precinct in the Bronx where cops have confiscated 600 milk crates and returned them to the dairies.

But there's nothing to worry about if you're caught. Cops aren't giving out any summonses. As one source says, the sweeps are helping rid street corners of drug dealers because many of them sit around on milk crates.
